This is the story of Cass, Virgil, and Malcolm. Cass is a 29-year-old predictive analystwho, in her youth, was an emotional child with premonitions. Following the tragic loss of herboyfriend in college, Cass loses her gift of second sight and resigns herself to a life of emotionalinvulnerability. But her sixth sense reawakens when meeting Virgil, a puckish cartographer whomakes maps to places that don’t exist, and his friend, Malcolm, a rabble-rousing octogenarianwho wants to return in time before he dies.
